The calculation starts with another round of measuring
From a job we delivered
A house type arrived as a drawing pack. The assessor had the external walls to measure, the openings to check and the specification to go through for the construction details. The window schedule and elevation disagreed on one window.
The system we built measured the drawings and prepared the inputs. It showed the assessor the conflicting window details and where each appeared in the drawings.
What the system does for you
We build it around your drawings, checking process and SAP software:
Read the drawing pack and specifications for each house type.
Extract measurements for walls, floors, roofs, windows and doors.
Group the measurements by construction type and collect the relevant specifications.
Flag unclear or conflicting details with their location in the drawings.
Prepare the inputs in an agreed format for your SAP software, with a check sheet for your assessor.
Your assessor checks and approves the inputs
Your assessor checks the measurements, resolves missing or conflicting information, chooses the calculation inputs and signs off the assessment. A prepared input is still theirs to check.
What we’ll need for the trial
- Drawing packs and completed assessment inputs from 10 past jobs.
- Your usual specifications, checking process and SAP software details.
- An assessor who can compare the prepared inputs with the finished work.
Try it on work you already know
Choose 10 completed house-type assessments, including some with awkward drawings. We agree which measurements and specifications to check, then compare the system’s output with the inputs from your completed assessments.
You see the differences measurement by measurement, what needs correcting and how long checking and correction take. We compare that with your current process to establish accuracy and any time saved. You decide whether the result justifies going live.

Questions about drawing preparation
Can you prepare SAP inputs from PDF drawings?
Yes. It extracts measurements and specifications for your assessor to check before using them in the calculation, and the trial tests that on your drawings.
Will this work with our SAP software?
We need to check your software’s input options first. We agree the output format during the trial rather than assume every system accepts the same file.
Does this replace an energy assessor?
No. Your assessor makes the professional decisions and signs off every assessment. The system prepares information for them to check.
How accurate is AI at measuring our drawings?
The trial shows that on your drawing packs. We use AI to help read the documents, then compare the prepared measurements with your completed assessments, including errors and corrections.
What happens when a drawing is unclear?
Unclear details come back as questions for your assessor. The trial checks that those questions are useful and that nothing important is missed.
What does it cost, and can we stop?
For the first five UK clients for this service, the trial and set-up are free, followed by service from £1,000 a month once live. There is no minimum term, and you can take over the system.
Where will our drawings go?
We agree storage, access and the tools used before you share trial drawings. That includes which third-party services receive them and on what terms.
