Turning Weeks of Manual Audits into 4-Hour Scans

The Challenge

The compliance team monitored supplier data across 12 countries, spending 30 hours a week on scattered reports and third-party assessments. Available AI tools flagged more than half of all cases incorrectly because they had no way to read socio-economic context behind labor data.

What We Built

We built three AI agents, each one focused on a different part of the risk assessment. The first reads legislation and maps where the client is exposed, the second checks labor and recruitment patterns against regional baselines, and the third runs structural analysis to find exploitation trends that general-purpose models are not built to catch. Full risk assessments that previously took 2 to 3 weeks now complete in under 4 hours.

Results

Exploitation incidents fell noticeably within the first two quarters after go-live. False alerts thinned out enough that the compliance team stopped spending full days sorting through dead ends. Weekly compliance work went from 30 hours to around 8, giving the team meaningful capacity back. The recovered time offset a significant portion of the project cost within the first 5 months.
